Holiday Utensil Holders

Hello everyone, ready for Christmas yet??  Today I wanted to share with you these very easy and super cute utensil holders that I made.  These are a great addition to a sit down holiday dinner or a potluck party.  I made these for an upcoming Christmas party.

The base was cut from Artiste at 2.5 inches, scored and folded, then I inked the edges on both sides.

The flowers were cut at 2, 1.75, 1.5, 1.25 inches, then I inked the edges, scored and creased the leaves, and layered them from largest to smallest.  Then I finished it with an adhesive pearl in the middle.

The holly leaves were cut from Joys Of The Season at 2.5 inches.  I inked the leaves and on some, I added red glitter.

For the sentiment, I used the stamp set Scandanavian Wishes (a previous Stamp of the Month)

I added about 27" of twine and little bells and then they were ready for the utensils.

These Holiday Utensil Holders are so easy to create, you can make a lot or a little.

Supplies used:
Artiste cartridge
Joys Of The Season cartridge
Cranberry and Olive cardstock
Cranberry and Olive Ink
Kraft paper
Scandinavian Wishes stamp set (s1310)
Adhesive pearls
Liquid glass
Twine, bells, red glitter

***You can find this project in the Cricut Craft room, just look for LatishaCTMH and add it to your faves.

Damask Divas Blog Hop - Huntington Paper Pack

Hello and Welcome to the Damask Divas November blog hop.  This month, we are featuring projects made with the new Huntington paper pack.  If you came from Jamie's Blog, you are in the right place.  If you have jumped here on your own, feel free to start at the beginning HERE.  You can also visit the Damask Divas website to see the full list of participants.

Here is my project.
Dressing up an unused picture frame is a great way to add a personal touch to your home decor.  It also would make a great gift.

I inked and then distressed the leaves with my little rolly thing to make them look crinkly and almost real.  The cuts came from both Artiste and Artbooking.  They were cut at 1", 1 1/2", and 2".

Then I arranged them around the tag and added some opaques.
The tag was cut at about 2 3/4" x 5 1/2".
I used the craft room to make it fit perfectly to the size of the stamp.

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope that you enjoy the projects and get some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own.  The next blog on the hop is Lilian Yea.  Remember, if you get lost, click HERE to start from the beginning or go to the Damask Divas website HERE.

Artiste Halloween Treat Boxes

Who is ready for Halloween??  Im not, but I am getting close!  I was looking through one of the old idea books for inspiration and I saw a monster treat box made using the Artiste Cartridge.  I definitely wanted to recreate it and here is how it turned out.

I decided to make a girl one using one of the new paper packs called Laughing Lola.  I used heart cuts from the Artbooking cartridge to make the antennas.  The green guy was made using sweet leaf cardstock and paper from the Chantilly paper pack.  These treat boxes were cut at 5" so they are roomy enough for candy or other treats like cookies or small toys.

This treat box was quick and fairly simple to make.  I love using the Idea Books for inspiration, they are not just catalogs!  You can find the recipes for all of the projects in the current Idea Books HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you find some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own!

Items Used:
Artiste and Artbooking cartridge
Perfect Fit - Halloween stamp set
Chantilly paper
Laughing Lola paper
Sunset, Sweet Leaf, Gypsy, Cranberry, White Daisy cardstock

Today, I wanted to share with you another one of my mason jar projects.  I just love making these now!    If you haven't checked out my first one, have a look HERE.  I made this one for my husband to keep on his desk at work.  The paper that I used is one of the new packs now available in the Autumn / Winter Idea Book from Close To My Heart called ProPlayer.  These papers are great for gamers, younger kids, and even adults!

During the month of August, you can get the stamp set - A Chocolate Affair - for FREE with a $50 purchase!
I wanted to keep it simple and manly so I used darker colors and accented it with Durables Artisan Studs and Bakers Twine.

Just add your favorite chocolate or snack and give as a gift or keep for yourself!

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope that you have found some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own!  Feel free to leave a comment or ask a question.  If you would like to shop with me, click HERE to get started!

Tooth Fairy Door Hanger

Well, it is finally happening, my little girl is growing up!  And way too fast if you ask me :(.  She is starting school this year and she has not one, but two loose teeth!  One is almost ready to come out so I had to race to get this little project finished.  I was inspired by a fellow consultant, Damask Diva, and very talented lady - Amie Kiger.

I made this Tooth Fairy Door Hanger with the Chantilly paper pack and glitter paper.

The stamp set that I used is one of the Hostess Rewards stamp sets called - The Party Is On.  This cute stamp set can only be purchased using hostess credits that you would earn by hosting a gathering.  There are many more to choose from too.  So why not host a gathering??  Don't have time?  You can host it all online!

The small My Creations Paper Pouches (NLA) are great for adding a message and money or another small gift from the tooth fairy.  Since these paper pouches are not available anymore, these really cute burlap or muslin drawstring bags would work perfectly too!

Both of these bags are inexpensive, easy to stamp, sew on, or embellish with items like buttons, gems, glitter glitz, brads, etc.  There are so many great ways to personalize this project, you won't want to make just one!  Get started today, create a fun craft of your own!

Damask Divas Blog Hop - Sarita

Hello and Welcome to the August blog hop presented to you by the Damask Divas team!  We are featuring the new paper pack available TODAY called Sarita.
If you came here from Jamie Blades' blog, you are in the right place.  If you have arrived here by chance, feel free to start HERE from the beginning.  If you get lost, please visit the Damask Divas website for the entire list of participants.

Now, I would like to share with you my project using these items!

I purchased this glass jar from my local craft store so I could dress it up as a candy jar for my craft area.  The Stamp of the Month for August is all about chocolate - A Chocolate Affair.  This was perfect for my candy jar project and because I love candy, chocolate, and chocolate candy :)

I used Liquid Glass to add some shine

Then I used Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon to finish it off.

Surprisingly enough, I found time to make a second project.  This is a box that I bought from Cricut.com and made it similar to the jar.  Both of these are a great gift idea for food, candy, or other small items.

The flower that I made was developed by another Damask Diva - Cathy Derouche.
